Lotion & Perfume? More Like Potion of Doom – Your beauty products are great for you, but not for your jewelry. Apply lotions, perfumes, and sprays before putting on your pieces. Let them shine, not slime.

1. Pearls Last—Perfume Blasts First

Think of pearls as your delicate friend who hates strong colognes. Always apply perfume, hairspray, and lotion before putting on your pearls. They don’t like to mix with chemicals (they're more into the all-natural lifestyle).

2. No Sweat, No Tears

Pearls aren’t fans of workouts, saunas, or dramatic movie nights. Sweat, excessive moisture, and tears (yes, even the ones from binge-watching sad rom-coms) can weaken their luster. Keep them dry and happy!

3. Beauty Sleep—Yes. Sleeping in Pearls—No.

Would you sleep in a silk dress? Probably not. So don’t do it to your pearls. Remove them before bed so they don’t get crushed, stretched, or tangled in the middle of the night.
